Character

Cassia is the main character of my book, Crossed. She a round and dynamic character that has definitely changed over the course of the first book of the series to the second book, which is the book I am reading now. She changed from being an innocent girl that all her movements were being controlled by the society (sort of like their form of government in the book) and can't make decision for herself, to being mature after she has figures out the reality of the society she has always trusted, how she was being watched and controlled. Also that the society didn't used to be the same as it is now, where there was more freedom and the officials were less secretive. These are the reasons why she is rebeling against the officials. Ky helped her revolve into the character she is now, by revealing informations about the society in order to protect her. Since he used to live outside the society, he knew alot about what the society was like. Her grandfather also helped her by giving his item, a compact mirror containg a poem about rebellion in it. Over all, Cassia is now more mature and ready to protect the people she loves from the officials. I predict that the theme has something to do with a person's rights.
